هنرمندی به نام لیبرتنی همراه با ۶۰۰۰۰ زنبور عسل توانسته است طرحی از یک قوری مومی را بسازد. برای این کار او در ابتدا چهارچوبی از قوری را ساخت و اجازه داد تا زنبورها بقیه کار را انجام دهند. اولین تلاش ها به خاطر مشکلات آب و هوایی ناکام ماند. اما در تلاش های بعدی و با قرار دادن پروژه در محلی که باد کمی می وزید زنبورها توانستند کار زیبای خود را به اتمام برسانند البته تلاش شد تا به هنگام کار آسیبی به زنبورها وارد نشود. این هنرمند این طرح را با الهام از کتاب صد سال تنهایی گارسیا مارکز انجام داده است و سعی داشته تا قدرت طبیعت را به همه نشان دهد.

من “رن ری” هستم و در ساخت مجموعه هنری یوآنسو که روی جعبه های اکریلیک ایجاد شده، با زنبورهای عسل همکاری داشته ام. علاقه من به زنبور از دوران کودکی زمانی که در یک کوه کوچک در پردیس دانشگاه ووهان زندگی می کردم شروع شد. پشت خانه، در جنگل، کندوهای عسل داشتیم. در این مجموعه من سعی کرده ام تسلط مطلق هنرمند را از بین ببرم، همکاری زنبورهای عسل با من نمونه ای از یک نوع ارتباط بین انسان و طبیعت است. من هرروز آن ها را با فاصله تماشا می کردم و آن ها متوجه حضور من نمی شدند، اما حالا من ۷۰ درصد از روزم را با زنبورها می گذرانم و اطلاعات زیادی از رفتار و عادات آن ها به دست آورده ام. من متوجه شدم زنبورها می توانند مجسمه های اسرارآمیزتری نسبت به من خلق کنند، بنابراین تصمیم گرفتم تصاویر و اشکال تخیلی را رها کنم و به هنر ناب تری بازگردم.
